Celebrating 40 Years of Dance Classes in Kingston!!
The Kingston School of Dance has been teaching the art of dance in Kingston, Ontario, Canada since 1967. We are a non-profit dance school, administered by the Kingston Community Ballet Association. As one of the oldest Kingston dance schools, we offer ballet classes and jazz dance classes for ages four to adult. The Kingston School of Dance runs two semesters which start in September and January, and end with the Annual Dance Performance at the beginning of June. We have been operating a dance school in Kingston for 40 years and are proud to have been a part of the Kingston dance community for such an extended period of time.
Our purpose is to be a dance school that conforms to standards set by professional dance training schools. Students are always encouraged to do their best whether taking ballet classes or jazz classes, and are accepted for who they are, no matter their level of talent. Everyone at our dance school works hard, but they also have a lot of fun and can feel a great sense of accomplishment. We also offer Hip Hop classes, Lyrical Dance classes, and children’s dance classes as well as several other styles of dance lessons for all ages and levels of experience. We are very proud to have as our Artistic Director, Diann Denning A.I.S.T.D. (Assoc. Dip. Cecchetti) and Ebon Gage (A.I.S.T.D./R.A.D.) as our Artist in Residence. Both Ms. Denning and Mr. Gage have extensive dance training and considerable performing experience all across Canada, and we’re very happy to have them teaching at our dance school.
